How Are Porcelain Veneers Made?

2. Minimal Tooth Preparation
A very thin layer is removed from the front surface of the tooth; in some cases no reduction is needed at all (no-prep veneers). This is the most important feature distinguishing veneers from traditional crowns.
3. Impressions and Temporary Veneers
A precise impression is taken and sent to the laboratory. During this period temporary veneers are placed so the patient can continue daily life.
4. Bonding
